The Tanks are Lining Up…
As a practitioner of random and not so random acts of kindness myself, I am always so gratified by the generosity of others. I’ve been doing my best in the last couple of days to line up several tanks of every class who will help me with my project of interviewing and compiling responses into a series of posts from tanks to educate myself and my readers. Every tank I’ve asked has said yes. Every single one.
The first tanks I asked for help are the ones I know, the tanks in my own guild who have been online recently. All of them agreed, which is extremely generous since I am asking them to write something for me to post in a public blog. I think that this takes a good deal of courage on their part. While I made a choice to make a blog, paid money for a domain name and hosting service, and jumped into the fray of posting on a consistent basis, the people I raid with have made no such commitment to publicly airing their thoughts and putting their writing up for scrutiny. I am humbled and gratified by their decision to help me in this way.
In addition, every blogger I have asked so far to help has also agreed, which to me shows another kind of generosity. Blogging, while being something that I enjoy greatly on many levels, is also a lot of work. It takes a good deal of thought to come up with post topics that are relevant and interesting. There is a lot of time involved in research and fact checking, followed by more time spent writing and editing before a post goes live. I am really quite surprised because of this large time commitment that every blogger I have approached has agreed to take even more time out of their own lives to help out us trees with some insight into how they do what they do. I’m just tickled! All of this generosity has really brightened my day so much.
I’m working on another post for today on another topic, as well, but this tank series of posts is now in full swing, which makes me quite happy. Just so that you know, I have wrangled some of the best known WOW bloggers out there to help out. You’re going to be hearing feedback from many of the people that tanks turn to when they need advice or help or a good laugh. It’s going to be great! =)

I’m both delighted and honored to be taking part in your project.
On a side-note, your blog is delightful! Regardless of my lack of understanding when it comes to healing (resto druids, especially), I’ll definitely be taking a peak around.
Just let me know when you want input for the DPS article. I think I can list for you every single reason that DPS classes need healing, as I’ve probably stepped in them all. =^)
Woooow, 150 tanks in that picture. Crazy. lol
Ah Sylly, you underestimate the kind of power we have over our tanks. When I say jump, Jess asks “How high?”
No but seriously, good (or smart?)tanks know not to say no to their healer.

Can’t wait to read the final post. Thanks for including me in the mix
Looks like you’ve got the prot warrior side of things pretty much covered, but if you need another one, I’d be glad to help out.
Happy to help! If you have any questions for a DPS/healer article I’d be glad to kick in some opinions.
