Stand By…

pleasestandby

The future of the blog here is, admittedly, quite uncertain at the moment.  I’m deep in the interview process of two different jobs.  Either of them would be great for my family, but would probably mean death to the blog, as either of them would require of me a one way commute of at least two hours from my home.  I don’t know if I’ll get either of the jobs, but much as I love blogging and staying in touch with all of you out there, I surely do hope that at least one of these places makes me an offer!  In the meantime, I’m finding it very difficult to find time to blog about World of Warcraft.  My days are filled with activity.  Research, writing out practice interview answers, shopping for clothes for interviews, and actually interviewing, as well as preparing for things like child care, animal care, etc. in case I do get one of the jobs, have filled up my days.  So, I am afraid that the blog is currently in limbo.  I know that many of you enjoy coming here and reading me yammering on about WOW, and I’m so glad that you do.  But I hope that you will find it in your hearts for me to cross your fingers that I get one of these jobs.  Even if it means the blog will end.  I surely do appreciate it!  Peace love and RAWR unending,  Sylly.

Sending you tons and tons of good luck vibes! I’ll miss your ramblings if it comes down to saying goodbye to the blog. But real life and family always comes first! I’ll have all my branches crossed in hopes you get an offer!!!

Un-ac-ceptable. Completely. No way no how. Ridiculous!
I’m playin,’ you know that. Love you Sylly Bylly. Much success, I know it will work out and I know I’ll still hear from you occasionally.

Much success with both, and either job. WoW is a game where you meet and make friends. Those friends wish theirs the best; so good luck:)

Sylly, of course I’ll miss your blogging but not to the extent that I don’t wish you all the luck in the world for these wonderful opportunities. I’ll be thinking of you and your family. *fingers crossed*

    Hope the interviews go well!
Just for a slightly different perspective:
If there’s so much travel time, are you sure that’s better for your family? It sounds like you need the job and providing for your family would be improved, but that much time away from them…. :(
Unless you were to move closer to the job, in which case you’d have more time with your family….. and the blog! c wut I did thar? <3

Best of luck to you! I’ve just started catching up on all the blogs in my reader, and I would hate to see you stop blogging right as I started reading! However, I completely understand the situation. Some things just have to take priority. Family, jobs, all of that stuff is so important. Right now, I’m thinking of taking a college course to get started on my requirements for the grad program I’m interested in, and I’m thinking to myself “but, the course meets on Wednesday nights! But – but I RAID on Wednesday nights! ./weep!” Well, I also raid on Mondays, and the course is just for a semester, and sometimes, you just have to get priorities straight.

If the job is something that you want, despite the commute, despite the potential end to blogging, then by all means – GOOD LUCK! I hope it all works out in the end – which I’m sure it will =) <3
